e-Safety Week

Monday 20th February – Friday 24th February

All this week children and parents have been learning about safety online. Children were given an assembly and took part in a poster competition where they had to create a poster displaying all the important factors you have to be aware of when you are using the internet.

Parents/Carers also took part by coming to a coffee morning where Natasha Campbell (NPW) was giving an Online Safety talk. Parents/Carers were made aware of how to protect their children online and what they can do in order to keep up good communication with their children about being safe online. As technology is moving so rapidly these days it is vital that parents are kept up to date with the new apps and how they work. Please go to our parent Links page to be directed to further websites which will guide you.

Please take a look at some of the amazing posters that the children created over the past week! Congratulations to the winners; Dameika (Class 1), Nathan (Class 2), Layla (Class 3), Dhara (Class 4), Hafeja and Mehzabeen (Class 5) and Selina (Class 6).

All the children made such a big effort and even did extra researching to make sure their posters had the essential information they needed to get their message across.
