Children from class 4 attending Eastlea Secondary School last week for a day full of fun activities learning all about the science of things!
The children took part in zorbing; rolling and running inside a huge inflatable transparent ball. Learnt how to make paper aeroplanes and then took it in turn to see how far each one would fly. They also were able to have a session using the trampolines and got to try out different techniques and styles of jumping. Finally, there was a Mission launch where a ball of metal was thrown into the air to see how far it could travel. The children were able to learn about the different angles of launching and how far each one can take an item into the air.
