At Grange, as part of our religious education curriculum, tolerance of others and collective worship, we took part in visit and place of worship week. The pupils visited a wide range of places of worship, including the local Church, Mosque and Gurdwara.
Following this, the children were set a task to produce work based on their visit. This work was entered into a borough-wide competition where schools entered their work into a variety of categories. All the children did a fantastic job and produced some beautiful art work. We were very pleased to have a few different winners:
Newham EYFS Class – Reception category – 1st Place
Newham KS1 Class – Year 1 – 3rd Place
Newham KS1 Class – Year 2 – 2nd Place
Newham Upper KS2 – Year 5 – 1st Place
We are very proud of our Pupils’ achievements, placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd out of the whole borough. The children will be presented with their prize on 12th July at Elmhurst Primary School.
