In order to increase awareness and raise as much money as possible for Comic Relief, our school took part in a RED uniform day and a sponsored bounce.
The children had a great time counting how many jumps they can to during the sponsored bounce activity. Children were given sponsorship forms where they tried to get as many people to sponsor them as possible to help raise awareness of Comic Relief. The children then had 2 minutes each on the bouncy castle to see how many jumps they could do.
The money we raise will help people living really tough lives in the UK and across Africa. For example, £2.50 could buy a mosquito net to protect a family in Africa. In the UK, £5 could pay for an isolated elderly person with dementia to have dinner at their local support group.
We really appreciate your support and hope that you had fun helping Grange Primary School raise lots of money for Red Nose Day.
